Canazei in the Winter
Canazei, a small little jewel, set in the middle of the most important dolomite mountain groups, in the spectacular ski carousel of the Dolomiti Superski, with 4 districts easily reachable from the village.
The Belvedere, the Ciampac, the Col Rodella and the Marmolada are in fact part of the wide range offered to all ski and snowboard enthusiasts.
Ski slopes, always snow covered
4 ski areas and numerous connections to the neighbouring ski areas. From the Val di Fassa are accessible the 4 valleys around the Sella Group – Giro dei 4 Passi (4-passes-tour) (Alta Badia, Arabba/Marmolada, Val Gardena/Alpe di Siusi) making Dolomiti Superski one single district of a total of 500 km of ski slopes.
The “Ciampac” is one of the most famous and exciting black ski runs of the whole Val di Fassa. It is an extremely technical run, ca. 2,5 km long descending very steeply down to Alba di Canazei with a difference in height of 660 m.
The construction of the new Ski Stadium Val di Fassa in Pozza di Fassa, only 10 minutes away from our hotel, permits night skiing on the extremely wide Aloch slope using the Skipass Val di Fassa, Dolomitisuperski or buying the dedicated tickets directly at the starting point of the plant.
For the enthusiasts of cross-country skiing there is absolutely nothing missing. Slopes and round-trails covered by a thick snow mantle and suitable for all. The well-trained can challenge themselves on the trail of the Marcialonga di Fiemme e Fassa. The round-trail of the Ciampac at 2.100 meters.
